Make it Yourself!

Peanut Butter:
(Susan D.'s instructions)

I buy the cheapest salted peanuts I can find. Don't use dry roasted, though, cuz all you'll get is mush. I pour about a cup and a half in my trusty blender and add just a smidge of peanut oil. Whiz it on high and scrape down the sides often. If necessary, add another drop or two of oil and keep blending till you get a little thicker consistency than you want. You've got to refrigerate it afterwards. When you're ready to use it, stir it up a bit...you should find a thin layer of oil on top. It tastes so much better than the stuff you buy in the store. Many brands add icing sugar or molasses to sweeten it up.
